The school held its 14th edition of AMIGMUN with an aim to inculcate understanding of diplomacy and public speaking skills in students through simulation of United Nations Assemblies. More than 450 student delegates from Class VIII-XI of the school and 10 alumni (as part of Executive Board) deliberated over global issues in six committees namely: United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), World Trade Organisation (WTO), High Level Panel (HLP), United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), North Peace Summit (NPS) and AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet). These committees discussed agendas such as, situation in Ukraine in the light of Russian aggression, impact of tariff and non-tariff measures with emphasis on carbon border taxes, resolution of the Syrian crisis, right to digital privacy and weaponisation of social media, North Atlantic peace treaty and formation of a united opposition front in view of upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election. The International Press released SaMUNchaar Patra, the official daily newsletter which described the AMIGMUN 2023 experience with its eloquent articles. Awards were presented to the respective committees during the closing ceremony. Trophies of appreciation were also given to the entire secretariat and Executive Board for their valuable contribution.
