AMITY NURTURES FUTURE YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS

Amity 46 Gurgaon took part in Future Young Entrepreneurs (FYE) Project at Berlin during 11-17 September’2016. 210 pupils aged 15 to 18 from India, Indonesia, Malawi, the Netherlands, Romania, Vietnam and Germany qualified for participation in the Erasmus+ programme. A weeklong training was provided to these young qualified newcomers in Berlin with an entrepreneurial spirit by Dana Ritzman, Rosalie Khushi Pasquale, Michael Geerdts, toastmaster, Communication Coach and business Storyteller . They witnessed the pitch presentations of students and provided an insight into vocational, economic and INFUTURE TEHNOLOGIES team from Amity Gurgaon 46 comprised of Shreyansh Goyal, Aditya Gupta, Avnish Roperia and Divya Labru, stuednts from grade class XI & XII. The preparatory phase included workshops about design thinking, fundraising, how to draw up business plans, on intercultural business communication and the rhetorical art of the elevator pitch. They were also trained on human behavior by life coach John Kairouz and made to understand partnership and co working space by Steffens Baumgartner and Pauline Roussel . Our students learned to make their own crowdfunding videos from Ernest Neumeister, Crowdfunder , social entrepreneur at Georg Weerth Schule during the workshop.

A glittering ceremony on 15 September’2016 was held at Berlin which was attended by luminaries like Ambassador of Malawi, jury members comprising of innovators, CEO’s and co-founders of start-ups in Germany. Along with 13 other teams from all over the world, Students presented the pitching for INFUTURE TECHNOLOGIES which was really appreciated and adjudged fourth at the global platform. They were also recommended for UN SEED award.
