A workshop on awareness and training on sudden cardiac arrest resuscitation was organized for the students and teachers of Classes IX-XII. The online session on CPR training and awareness was conducted by Dr. Kartikey Bhargav, Director, Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at Medanta Gurugram; Ms. Sumaiya Raghavan and Mr. Anand Shrivastava. During the session they explained how to recognize the situation when an individual is suffering through sudden cardiac arrest and explained the process of giving CPR through power point presentations and videos. They also shared the dos and don’ts of CPR and explained the use of AED machine to revive a patient suffering from sudden cardiac arrest.
