School was declared first runner up for Best School Newspaper and second runner up for Best Editing, at the 12th GT Awards, held in hybrid mode with simultaneous screening across all the branches of Amity Group of Schools. It also won first prize for Best Science Bedtime Story; second prize for Best Top Story, Best Just for Laughs, Best Illustration and third prize for Best Poem. Swati Jha and Dhriti Seth were amongst the eight Amitians who received the prestigious GT School Time Achievement award for having worked with The Global Times throughout their student life. The annual award marked the culmination of inter Amity Making a Newspaper contest in which 10 branches of Amity Group of Schools make their own newspaper contest edition. The contest editions were judged by eminent jury members comprising Shiny Varghese, senior editor, Indian Express and Arya Praharaj, chief illustrator, Times Group.
