The Ministry of Power, Government of India, every year recognises industries and institutional establishments for their exemplary efforts towards energy conservation in the country. It is a matter of great pride that this year, the school was awarded the Certificate of Merit in the Schools at National Energy Conservation Award 2022 (NECA 2022) at a glittering award ceremony held on December 14, 2022, at Vigyaan Bhawan, New Delhi. The prestigious award was presented to the school based on the evaluation of the school building on parameters namely energy savings, EPI reduction, BEE star labelling, energy audit in three years, green building certification and ISO 50001 energy management certificate. Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools & RBEF, along with school principal Arti Chopra were present on the occasion and were felicitated with the award by Minister of Power, New and Renewable Energy, RK Singh. The event was presided over by President of India, Draupadi Murmu.
