Prerna Diwas – a celebration to pay tribute to a woman of substance, a futuristic educationist and a mother bestowing unconditional love, Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan – was celebrated with much grandeur and gaiety at Amity 46. This is an occasion that all the students were waiting for, to reach out, to share, to listen and to speak to their beloved Chairperson ,Dr.(Mrs.)Amita Chauhan . To celebrate her loving and benevolent nature, students had prepared a spectacular repertoire of creative activities portraying the magnanimity of her persona under the guidance of School Principal, Ms. Arti Chopra. The event began with the grand welcome at the reception with the school band followed by the ‘crowning ceremony’ of Chairperson by students of class one. As the students sang birthday song, the guitar chords were in sync with the occasion, specially played by middle school western music group. The whole experience of chairperson being a ‘Prerna’- source of inspiration for her children was truly celebrated in its best capacity. The event ended on an important note ‘A strong belief in self will let the pride of Amity prevail forever’.
