Class VI students put up an enthralling class presentation titled ‘Sanrakshan- Towards Sustainable Living’ explore the Sustainable Development Goals and find ways in which individuals can take action to preserve the earth for future generations. The event began with Ganesh Vandana, following which Principal, Dr. Arti Chopra, addressed the parents and shared the recent achievements of the school and the ways in which Amitians take up issues like sustainability as part of their responsibility towards the nation and the world. The children presented a dramatic representation of important SDG goals, their inception and purpose. Four SDG Goals namely SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG14 (Life Below Water), SDG (Life on Land) were taken up in detail. The presentations included skits, nukkad natak, songs (Zero Hunger Song, Paani Anthem an SDG Rap), dances (Ghoomar, Kathak, Bharatnatyam), sports (yoga), a cookery show (The Millets Master Chef) and even a fashion show based on all 17 SDG Goals.
