The school bagged first runner-up title for GT Best Newspaper 2024-25 at the 15th GT Awards ceremony, marking the culmination of the annual Making a Newspaper contest by The Global Times. The competition witnessed 12 branches of Amity Group of Schools across Delhi-NCR and UP compete for the coveted winner’s trophy and prizes in 15 categories. The team was also declared first runner up for Best Design while bagging several other awards like first prize for Best Educational Poster, Best Illustration, Best Photograph, second prize for Best Autobiography, Best Graphic/Imaging and third prize for Best Poem. Alumni Chaitanya Roy was felicitated with the GT School Time Achievement award for her exemplary contributions to the newspaper during her schooling years. The competition was judged by eminent jury comprising Kriti Kambiri, Editor, Hindustan Times and Asheeran Rafi, Senior Digital Graphic Artist, The Times of India. Ms. Megha Mamgain, Editor, Health and Lifestyle and Vice President, Jagran Media Group graced the event as the chief guest. Blessing the students, Chairperson, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan lauded their professionalism in designing the newspaper and encouraged them to strive to be the best in their endeavours.
