AISMV Triumphs at GT Awards 2026
The Editorial Board of Amity International School, Mayur Vihar (AISMV) brought immense pride to the institution at the prestigious ‘GT Awards’ held at Amity University on August 5, 2026. The ceremony marked the culmination of the year-long ‘Making a Newspaper’ contest for the 2025–26 academic session, which tested the creativity, writing calibre, and dedication of editorial teams across twelve Amity schools. Demonstrating exceptional journalistic skill, AISMV bagged the Second Best Newspaper Award and the Third Best Edited Newspaper Award.
In individual and collaborative categories, Nandini Rastogi and Ruqqaya Rahman (X B) secured the First Prize for Best Ground Reporting, while Akshita Rathore (XI F) delivered a standout performance, winning the Best Headline Award, Third Prize for Best Autobiography, and sharing the Third Prize for Best Educational Poster with Nandini Rastogi (X B) as well as the Third Prize in Science Advertisement with Ashee. Adding to the artistic and literary victories, Yadvi Kumar (XI F) took home the Third Prize for Illustration, Adya Behl (X A) bagged the Third Prize for Best Poem, and the duo of Akshit Kaul and Shantam Neogi earned the Third Prize for Best Interview. Honouring their sustained brilliance and leadership, Akshit Kaul and Priyamvada Rao were conferred the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Furthermore, Shantam Neogi received a Nomination for Best Photograph, and Priyamvada Rao earned a Nomination for Top Story, rounding off an unforgettable celebration of student journalism and excellence.
