Students of Class I-VIII of Bhagirathi House organized a program ‘Sensitising Young Peers to Keep Our Amity Building and Its Surroundings Clean’. The objective was to focus on instilling the importance of hygiene, proper waste disposal, fostering environmental responsibility and civic duty among students. The session drew inspiration from the national ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ and highlighted the harmful effects of littering and the long-term benefits of a healthy, green campus. The students conducted a mini cleanliness drive within the school premises and learnt the importance of proper waste segregation. They also took a pledge to act as ambassadors of cleanliness and reinforced the message of a clean and green environment.
