ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair) is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition, for high school students. Approximately 1,700 high school students from over 75 countries, regions, and territories are awarded the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete for approximately $4 million in prizes.
In a significant achievement for the school, budding scientists Khanak Bhargava & Ishani Goomer won the 3rd Grand Award in Biochemistry at International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), held in Phoenix, Arizona, USA in May 2013. The young scientists competed with participants from more than 70 countries and exchanged their ideas and knowledge. They got a unique opportunity to interact with Nobel laureates and other eminent personalities from all over the world. Back in India, the winning duo was felicitated by Mr Vineet Joshi, Chairman, CBSE, for their stupendous achievement.

At the International Science and Engineering Fair, held in California, USA in May 2014, Kopal Gupta & Shreya Nandi of Class XI, won 4th position in Chemistry for their project: ‘Kit to remove pesticides present on the surface of fruits and vegetables’.
