Republic Day 2026

Date: 26th January 2026

Amity International School, Mayur Vihar, resonated with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm as the school community gathered to celebrate India’s 77th Republic Day. The event was a powerful display of national unity, involving students from Classes 1 to 12, along with parents and staff.

The ceremony commenced with the traditional flag hoisting led by our Respected Principal. In a moment of sharp discipline and pride, the Amity Cadet Corps (ACC) stood at attention and saluted the flag as it was unfurled. Students from across all grades, dressed in their pristine uniforms, joined the salute, creating a sea of disciplined young citizens honouring the Tricolour.

The atmosphere was further elevated by a medley of patriotic songs performed by the school choir. The soulful renditions of patriotic songs such as “Vande Mataram” and “Hind Desh Ke Niwasi” filled the air, stirring a deep sense of inspiration and national pride among the audience.

In her keynote speech, the Principal, Mrs Meenu Kanwar highlighted the importance of the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. She emphasized that the strength of our nation lies in the ideals of justice, liberty, and equality. By reflecting on these core principles, she reminded the students of their shared responsibilities as the future architects of India and the vision of our respected Chairperson , Dr. Mrs Amita Chauhan Ma’am of Amitians leading the nation in all the fields.

The celebration reached its peak as the entire gathering stood in unison to sing the National Anthem. The collective voice of the assembly brought a profound sense of pride and belonging to the forefront.
