The school organized an astronomy session ‘Space Explorers: Destination Moon and Planets’ for students of Class I – V to foster scientific curiosity through age-appropriate storytelling and observational learning. Students in Class I and II were introduced to the phases of the Moon through engaging narratives, while students in Class III to V attended an informative presentation on lunar topography, craters, and meteoroid impacts. The highlight of the evening was the use of large telescopes by students in the ground to witness the cosmos firsthand. Under the evening sky, the young astronomers observed the sharp details of the Crescent Moon and identified its unique surface features. They also viewed the planet Jupiter and three of its moons. The session concluded with the distribution of Space Explorers Kits to all participants.
