The annual ethical leadership programme, initiated by The Global Times-Amity’s youth newspaper, aims at grooming students as harbingers of change. Young leaders from across all Amity International Schools work on different social issues related to women, by forming teams, researching topics, designing plans of action, generating funds and finally showcasing their work in the form of a presentation at the grand finale.

School YP team ‘WOW – Wipe Out Waste’bagged the second runners up award and the ‘Best Panel Discussion’ award at the 12th and first ever virtual grand finale of Youth Power. They took to the cause of effective waste management to create sustainable, green and eco-friendly living. They propagated panchamantras‘Refuse, Repair, Refill, Reduce and Reuse’ toinstigate society for reducing waste generated daily by adopting these 5 basic waste management practices in daily life.The team comprised mentor SonaliJain, leader Amritha Nair (Class XI) and members Kriti Thakkar, Harshita Kinra, Aditya Agarwal (XI). The virtual finale was graced and judged by MsRicha an alumna of IIT Roorkee and former Vice President, Morgan Stanley, now a naturalist, and MsDeekshaMittra, former media professional and life skill coach.
