Nine students from school namely Kriti Panwar, Shreya Dasgupta, Ayan Gupta, Sahar Dua, Palak Yadav, Divya Labru, Abhay Labru, Aryan Nijhawan and Yavnika Garg participated in AIMUN Dubai conference held Amity University, Dubai campus that saw over 60 children from India, South Africa and Japan take part. Delegates participated in two committees namely UNSC and UNODC where they deliberated upon agenda’s as ‘nuclear non-proliferation with special emphasis on North Korea’ and ‘combating the criminal misuse of information technology’, respectively. Palak Yadav served as the Rapporteur of the committee UNSC. Divya Labru served as the Secretary General whereas Ayan Gupta served as Director General of AIMUN Dubai. Kriti got the Best Delegate award whereas Shreya and Abhay Labru received the High Commendation award. The participants also got an opportunity to visit Amity International School, Abu Dhabi, experience exclusive workshops and tour the city’s famous destinations.
