The school hosted Mega Tinkering Day, a nationwide initiative by NITI Aayog and the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) involving over 10,000 schools across India. The event aimed to foster innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills among young learners by engaging them in hands-on projects. Over 30 Students participated from Grade XI took up the challenge of building a functional mini vacuum cleaner within a budget of ₹80 using recycled materials. Guided by tinkering leaders Aaditya Garg and Abhay Bailey, both the key members of ATL society, the teams creatively used a plastic bottle, a DC motor, a fan, and a 9V battery to design an efficient working model. The project highlighted the essence of frugal innovation and sustainability while inspiring teamwork, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity.
