Astronomy day was celebrated by the students of the space club Stalls were put up which provided information about activities like comet cooking, kit display, comparing weight on the earth to other planets, safe solar observation, hydro rocketry etc. Students organized games based on astronomy topics and engaged the spectators in these games. Students made them look at the sun through the telescope, pin whole projector and solar view goggles in a careful manner. They also helped them to understand the different concepts on how to use the latitude finder and sun dial to find directions and time of various places.
Inauguration of the event was done by School Principal Mrs. Arti Chopra by launching a Hydro rocket.
